FotoShoot (“FotoShoot”, “we”, “us”) is operated by Pavan Bajwa, trading as FotoShoot / FotoShoot Labs. This policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you use the FotoShoot mobile application and related websites (including fotoshoot.app).

1. Information we collect

• Account information — email address, display name, and authentication data when you register or sign in (via Firebase Authentication).
• User content — photos and related metadata you submit to challenges, tips, votes, points, and leaderboard activity.
• Usage and device data — app interactions, crash logs, performance diagnostics (including Firebase Crashlytics and Analytics), and approximate device information needed to run the service.
• Purchase data — subscription status for FotoShoot Pro processed by Google Play Billing (we do not receive your full payment card number).
• Advertising data — on free (non-Pro) experiences, advertising identifiers and related signals may be used by Google AdMob to show ads.

2. How we use information

• Provide daily challenges, photo submissions, blind voting, winners feeds, learning content, points, and leaderboards.
• Operate Casual and Advanced free lanes and Pro features (exclusive challenges, tip submissions, ad-free access, and related entitlements).
• Maintain security, prevent abuse, debug crashes, and improve the product.
• Process subscriptions and enforce entitlements.
• Communicate about the service (e.g. support replies).
• Comply with law and Play / platform policies.

3. Legal bases (where applicable)

Where GDPR/UK GDPR applies, we rely on performance of a contract, legitimate interests (security, product improvement, fraud prevention), consent where required (e.g. certain advertising/analytics), and legal obligation.

4. Sharing

We use processors who help us run FotoShoot, including Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Storage, Analytics, Crashlytics, and related services), Google Play Billing, and Google AdMob for ads on free tiers. They process data on our instructions under their terms.

We may disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business transfer. We do not sell your personal information.

5. Photos and public content

Photos and profile elements you submit to challenges, voting, winners feeds, or other shared areas may be visible to other users as part of the product. Do not upload content you do not have the right to share, or that identifies others without permission.

6. Retention

We keep account and content data while your account is active and as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, and meet legal requirements. You may request deletion as described below.

7. Your choices and rights

• Access, correct, or delete account data by contacting support@fotoshoot.app.
• Request account deletion; we will delete or anonymise personal data except where we must retain it by law.
• Manage advertising preferences via your device settings (e.g. Android advertising ID / ads personalisation controls).
• Manage or cancel Pro subscriptions in Google Play.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights (access, erasure, portability, objection). Contact us to exercise them.

8. Children

FotoShoot is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under that age.

9. International transfers

Data may be processed in the United States and other countries where our providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. We will post the new version on this page and update the “Last updated” date.
